Enter Garage Headquarters – the client’s partner in refurbishing their history. Larissa and Scott, our dedicated team members, navigated the complex landscape of historical regulations, attending multiple HDC meetings on behalf of our customer. We were required to produce a letter of evaluation from a historical expert stating that the doors were beyond repair. Armed with comprehensive samples, street-view pictures, and expert evaluations, our solution won the approval of the Historic District Commission. Collaborating with a local custom woodworker, a world-class door manufacturer, a machine shop to duplicate the period hardware required by the Historic District Commission and a premium finishing contractor, we meticulously recreated the swing-out doors, complete with windows and replicated decorative hardware.
Our hallmark achievement? Saving our customer precious time and effort. We took charge of permits and HDC meetings, resulting in a mere 20 hours of collective work for our team members, Larissa, and Scott. Our commitment to providing over-and-above service for our customers on full display.
This story is a true gem for history enthusiasts and aficionados of timeless craftsmanship. We were able to seamlessly blend the combination of retaining heritage as we revived a piece of history, all while enhancing its functionality. Our multiple resources, from local craftsman to national world-class quality, enabled this discriminating homeowner the ability to achieve their vision of what the next generation of history will experience.
We do not merely craft doors; we weave tales that endure through time. Not everyone has the same solutions. And, no other local team has the same level of commitment, resources, and experience as we do for our customers.
