Details
Combining the design elements of an industrial look with the clean, modern glass panels makes for a unique look that is undeniably gorgeous. Your garage door can take up a large portion of the view of the front of your home. You might as well choose one that looks amazing.
The Cambridge Collection of modern aluminum doors presents contemporary elegance with sleek lines while delivering maximum light infiltration into the garage space. A full view aluminum garage door is guaranteed to be a showstopper!
DOOR CONSTRUCTION
The Cambridge Collection is made of 2-1/8” durable commercial-grade aluminum, making it virtually maintenance-free, corrosion resistant, and long-lasting. Strong integrated stiffening struts are included within the design for enhanced durability. Reinforcement struts do not protrude into the vision panels, providing a clean look and a wide area of unobstructed view as integral section joint seal for further reduction of air and water infiltration.
DESIGN DEFINITION
The aluminum rails and stiles are designed with crisp 90-degree, non-beveled edges and visually perfect straight lines to give your home an architecturally authentic contemporary look with superior curb appeal.
Our stylish, galvanized hinges and fixtures help create a clean, cohesive look without compromising functionality or quality.
NATURAL LIGHT IS SUPREME
As garages host multiple uses outside of vehicle storage the best light to work by is natural light. A full view aluminum garage door lets in the natural light that is perfect for working under. The door can remain closed while you go about whatever it is you do in your garage. The customizable glass panel options allow you to decide how much light you want.
WIND LOAD APPROVED
Wind load doors are built specifically to withstand high-wind pressures with an interior wind load reinforcement system. Wind load reinforcement can be added to practically all doors to meet local building codes. Simply choose the door style that is right for you and we will confirm what wind load rating is required.
SUPERIOR WEATHER SEALS
Our GHQ signature weather-sealing system includes a heavy rubber bottom seal with integrated ice and water shields to keep out the elements. Engineered foam seals along the vertical edges offer superior performance and longevity, versus the generic rubber lip seal.
INSULATION PACKAGE
Aluminum does conduct energy including warm and cold air more than steel or wooden doors. To help control the excess cold and heat coming in through the garage, optional insulated section rails are available, providing additional thermal protection for your garage space!
Design Your Door
Customize your GHQ Cambridge Collection garage door with your choice of aluminum frame and panel combinations. The clean and minimal designs not only modernize your home exterior but can also be used to add a splash of style to your indoor/outdoor living spaces.
MATERIAL INFORMATION
Anodized aluminum and powder coat finishes keep your door looking great without rusting or corroding over time. This is essential if you live near the ocean or other sources of saltwater.
The only maintenance required is a wipe down to remove any dirt accumulated from normal life outdoors. New polycarbonate glazing is lighter than glass, making installation easier and requiring less power to open.
OPTIONAL POWDER COAT
If you are in search of more color options, we offer an Optional Powder Coat Package to compliment any style. Select from approximately 200 powder coat color options to best match your home.
